The Unit of Emerging viruses of IPS, CAS is working on Japanese encephalitis virus and Dengue virusesto study the molecular basis of pathogenesis. 

　　The Unit is seeking to recruit a senior research scientist to contribute as a co-Principal Investigator in the field of virology research, ranging from basic biology to diagnosis and development of new vaccines.

　　Interested candidate must have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent, have internationally advanced research experiences and accomplishments, good track record of publications in international journals. He or she should be able to demonstrate abilities in writing grant application and in directing key research and development projects.

　　The initial appointment is for a period of three years, renewable on evaluation records. Salary will be commensurate with experiences and qualifications.
