RIIP-Info : Call for proposals ACIP 2013

In the framework of the "Actions Concertées Inter Pasteuriennes" (ACIP) of the Institut Pasteur International Network, the call for proposals 2013 has been opened.

The deadline for submission is March 29, 2013, by email to acip@pasteur.fr

The main objective of ACIP support is to encourage the development of new collaborations between the institutes of the Institut Pasteur International Network, for research concerning public health.

ACIP financing is aimed to encourage the set-up of projects at the following levels:

1) a pilot project based on an original idea concerning a non-explored public health problem.

2) a complementary project to integrate at least two new groups from the International Network in an existing international consortium or within the framework of an international project already partially supported.

3) the financing of a workshop to elaborate a project proposal within the framework of an identified international call

Each ACIP project should include at least 3 groups of the International Network. Participation of external groups or institution will be encouraged.  A coordinator for each ACIP will be appointed by the participants of each proposal. The coordinator will be a researcher of an institution which is part of the Institut Pasteur International Network. The coordinator will be responsible for the chairing, the follow-up and the execution of the project to the scientific and administrative plans.

The maximum duration of an ACIP is 2 years.
