On January 19, 2016 the Director of the Institut Pasteur Christian Brechot visited IPS-CAS. He was warmly welcomed by Hong Tang, IPS Director General, together with Fernando Arenzana, IPS Scientific co-Director. IPS past achievements and the future scientific plan of the institute in the context of CAS and state's new 13th 5-year plan were presented to him, by Ke Lan, the deputy Director General and Fernando, respectively. A big emphasis was made on the China “one road, one belt” strategy and how IPS can be an active part of it. Christian Brechot thanked IPS Management team for the good spirit observed in the past year and encouraged the new team to work and reinforce the Institut Pasteur-IPS- Pasteur Network collaborations.
