On December 29, the French Minister of State for Higher Education and Research, Mr. Thierry Mandon visited Institut Pasteur of Shanghai. An overview of the history of IPS and a general discussion on the latest achievements was held in the fields of basic/applied research, public health and education. Mr. Mandon was interested in our institute’s efforts in translational research and impressed by China’s attractiveness towards foreign scientists. He encouraged IPS to strengthen ties with other French institutes and universities.
