The 3rd meeting of the Board of Directors of Institut Pasteur of Shanghai (IPS), Chinese Academy of Sciences was held on Jan 12th, 2006. Prof. Chen Zhu, Chairman of the BOD chaired the meeting. Dr. Vincent Deubel, Director General of IPS reported the activities of IPS in 2005 and perspectives for the coming year to the BOD. The BOD appreciated the progress being made in scientific research, introduction of talents, education and training in such a short time. The BOD has also advised IPS in international and national cooperation, introduction of talents, application of research grants through competitive channels as well as collection of social funds.
