On Jan.10, Mr. Emmanuel Lenain, Consul General of France in Shanghai visited Institut Pasteur of Shanghai (IPS).

Prof. Ralf Altmeyer, Director General gave a general introduction on IPS to Mr. Lenain. As a symbol of the scientific and technologic cooperation between China and France, IPS is pursuing its missions on biomedicine research, public health and education in the field of infectious diseases. Prof. Altmeyer mentioned the on-going expansion of IPS, including a new building further adapted to research, the creation of a Bio-incubator, and high-level bio-safety laboratories.
