    Air Liquide Healthcare CEO visited Institut Pasteur of Shanghai

      In the afternoon of Dec. 4, Mr. Jean-Marc de Royere, Vice Chairman of Air Liquide, Chairman & CEO of Air Liquide Healthcare and his colleagues visited IPS.

      Prof. Sun Bing, Co-Director of IPS gave an introduction on IPS to the guests. Following that, Prof. Lan Ke, gave a general information of the National Science and Technology Key Project - “Construction of technical platforms to detect virus pathogen of respiratory system and central nervous system and anti-viral immune response”.

      IPS and Air Liquide Foundation have launched a joint research project on respiratory in April 2009, which is going well. Prof. Lan Ke presented the research progress on the diagnostic methods to identify new viruses causing respiratory infections. 

      Mr. de Royere and his colleagues showed strong interests in the researches of IPS and had a broad discussion with IPS team. Both parties are interested to develop further collaboration in the areas of COPD patients and animal modeling, etc.
