Prof. Jiayang Li - Vice President of CAS visited Institut Pasteur of Shanghai (IPS) on July 26. 　　

　　Prof. Bing Sun, Co-Director of IPS gave an overall report to Prof. Li on the organizational structure and management mechanism of the institute, its key research directions, progress on research and team construction as well as the strategic plan. The win-win cooperation by joint efforts among CAS, Shanghai Municipal Government and Institut Pasteur was especially emphasized in Prof. Sun’s report. Such an innovation system in Institut Pasteur of Shanghai has an important significance in combing the advantages of three parties to contribute to the development of the researches in infectious diseases in China. 　　

　　Afterwards, Prof. Li visited laboratories of Viral Genome Regulation, Viral Hepatitis and Tumor Virology as well as technical platforms such as BSL-2.
