Prof. BAI Chunli, the new president of Chinese Academy of Sciences visited Institut Pasteur of Shanghai (IPS) on March 29.

Prof. LAN Ke presented the Pathogen Diagnostic Center (PDC) to BAI, the new diagnostic approaches developed by PDC, its technical support to the Shanghai Expo 2010, and its cooperation with the international network of Pasteur institutes.

Prof. ZHONG Jin, head of Viral Hepatitis Unit introduced the project on hepatitis C virus (HCV), and answered BAI’s questions on HCV prevention and treatment related, vaccine development and drug screening.
