PI Recruitment in HIV Biology

IPS, CAS (http://english.shanghaipasteur.cas.cn/) is seeking outstanding Principal Investigators (the faculty position) to study the biology of HIV infection. Candidates in the field of HIV biology, including human immunology, cellular immunology, viral immunology, host and viral interaction, vaccine development including DNA or protein or peptide or viral vector or VLP based vaccine platforms, novel adjuvant development, vaccine formulation and delivery, vaccine-related immunology, or animal model in viral infection are strongly encouraged to apply. Principal Investigatorwill be the leader in the unit and demonstrate abilities in directing key research and development projects.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree with over four years of postdoctoral training and a track record of publications in high-quality international journals. Successful candidates are expected to develop an independent research program demonstrated by national levels of research funding as well as to teach and to train Ph.D. students. Salary will be highly competitive and commensurate with experiences and qualifications.

IPS, CAS is a national research institution, belongs to Chinese Academy of Sciences, co-funded by the Institut Pasteur, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Municipality of Shanghai.
