Course of the IPIN "Geographical Information Systems and Spatialized Multicriteria Analyses Applied to Health"

The course of the IPIN "Geographical Information Systems and Spatialized Multicriteria Analyses Applied to Health" will be held in Antananarivo, Madagascar, from the 8th to 19th of April 2019.
The general objective of this course is to provide health professionals, students and researchers working in the field of health, the theoretical bases on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with practical exercises using the QGIS software and methods of spatialized multicriteria analyses based on knowledge. These analytical methods are an alternative to statistical models for mapping epidemiological risks.
For applicants outside of Madagascar, a financial support (airline tickets and accommodation) is possible within the limit of the number of places available.

The deadline to apply is 8 February 2019. The number of places is limited to a maximum of 18 students for the first week, plus additional 4 students for the second week.
